Based in the Riviera Maya since 2007, we’ve spent almost two decades photographing weddings and elopements across Mexico.

THE PERSON BEHIND PHOTOSTUDIOAB
FROM ITALY TO THE RIVIERA MAYA.
I was born in Tuscany and moved to Mexico more than 18 years ago.
What started as a change of country became a different way of seeing the world — and eventually became the foundation of PhotostudioAB.
Photography has always been my way of observing places and people.
Today, I photograph weddings and elopements across the Riviera Maya, combining that curiosity with years of experience and a documentary approach shaped by the people and places I’ve encountered along the way.
I still believe the best photographs are rarely the ones you can plan.
They’re the ones you don’t want to forget.

A magical experience captured We celebrated our wedding with a traditional Mayan ceremony in a cenote in Playa del carmen—a breathtakingly beautiful and spiritual place.
